- 3 eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla paste or vanilla extract
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line three baking trays with parchment paper.
Add eggs, cardamom powder, vanilla bean paste, and sugar to a large bowl. Beat with a hand mixer for 3 minutes until smooth and pale.
Gradually add oil and keep mixing until all combined.
Combine flour and baking powder. While the mixer is still running, gradually add flour until a soft dough is formed.
Using a tablespoon or one-ounce scoop, scoop out one scoop and drop it in sesame seeds. Roll all sides in sesame seeds.
Shape them into circles. Form a round ball and then flatten it with your hand.
Place them on the prepared baking tray and repeat the process for the rest of the dough.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-18 minutes.
Let them cool down in the baking tray for 10 minutes. Serve them with a cup of tea or milk.
