Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar granulated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup half and half
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  • Gradually add the eggs one at a time until all is combined, then add the vanilla extract.
  • Slowly add baking powder and flour, and mix.
  • Add half-and-half slowly until all is combined.
  • Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Divide batter between each muffin liner.
  • Bake on preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the muffin; if it comes out clean, then they are done.
  • Allow muffins to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
