- ½ cup butter room temperature
- 1 cup sugar granulated
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup half and half
- 1 cup chocolate chips
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Gradually add the eggs one at a time until all is combined, then add the vanilla extract.
Slowly add baking powder and flour, and mix.
Add half-and-half slowly until all is combined.
Lastly, fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide batter between each muffin liner.
Bake on preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the muffin; if it comes out clean, then they are done.
Allow muffins to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.
