Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 apples Peeled and sliced or cubed
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 box Vanilla cake mix (15.25 oz) or any cake mixes you have on hand
  • ½ cup butter cut to thin pieces or melted.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F . Spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Wash, peel, and slice apples into thin pieces or small cubes. Add them to a bowl. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the apple to a prepared baking pan.
  • Cover the apple with dry cake mix and cover with butter.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown in preheated oven at 350 degrees F.
  • Serve it warm with whipping cream or ice cream.
