- 3-4 chicken thighs or legs You can use four legs or three large thighs depending on the space of the pot
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon old bay seasonings
- 1 teaspoon creole seasoning
- ยฝ cup oil
Ingredients for the Rice:
- 2 cups long grain rice rinsed
- 1 onion finely chopped chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 Maggi cube
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon 7 spices
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Vegeta seasoning
For Garnish
- ยผ cup almonds toasted
- 2 tablespoons parsley fresh
Instructions
Directions (chicken):
- Get a clean and moisture-free bowl for mixing the spices. If you want to use your hands for mixing the spices, you should wear gloves, otherwise, your skin might get burned. However, using a spatula will be better.
- Make sure that the meat is defrosted. If not, then get a bowl of cold water and submerge the meat in it. It will take a maximum of 30 minutes or you can use lukewarm water too.
- Now add all the spices you need for the chicken in the clean bowl and mix them evenly.

- Once the water has been absorbed, cover the pot with the lid and turn the heat down to a low.
