Sprinkle Cajun seasoning mix onto both sides of the salmon, gently rubbing it in. Set the salmon aside.
Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick skillet or cast iron skillet over medium heat.
While the pan is heating, prepare the Cajun honey butter by mixing cajun honey butter sauce ingredients. Set the mixture aside.
Place the salmon in the pan and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side.
Once the salmon is cooked, reduce the heat to medium-low and pour half of the sauce onto the top of the salmon. Allow the sauce to heat up along with the salmon.
Before serving, pour the remaining sauce on the cooked fish and top with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
