Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons light olive oil

Cajun Honey Butter Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Sprinkle Cajun seasoning mix onto both sides of the salmon, gently rubbing it in. Set the salmon aside.
  • Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick skillet or cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • While the pan is heating, prepare the Cajun honey butter by mixing cajun honey butter sauce ingredients. Set the mixture aside.
  • Place the salmon in the pan and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, reduce the heat to medium-low and pour half of the sauce onto the top of the salmon. Allow the sauce to heat up along with the salmon.
  • Before serving, pour the remaining sauce on the cooked fish and top with fresh herbs and lemon slices.
