Perfectly Creamy & Cheesy Da Vinci Pasta
What Is Pasta Da Vinci?
Penne pasta with a creamy Madeira sauce is one of the most popular Cheesecake Factory recipes. The dish includes sautéed mushrooms, red onions, garlic cloves, Madeira wine sauce, and chicken. However, I didn't use any wine in the sauce, Feel free to use it or substitute it with chicken stock.
Because of a unique secret ingredient - sour cream- the sauce has a slightly tangy flavor. Heavy cream, white grape juice, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese round out the flavorful sauce.
Why Make this Cheesecake Factory Pasta Recipe?
Simplicity: This is a quick and easy pasta recipe that requires only a few ingredients. This dish can be prepared and served in the time it takes you to drive to the restaurant.
Flavor: The flavor combination in this pasta dish will astound you. Fresh mushrooms give this Cheesecake Factory Pasta Da Vinci Copycat recipe heartiness, while the flavor of the sauce takes it to a whole new level.
The seared chicken: Searing the chicken in the pan first adds a lot of flavor to the dish. You'll fall in love with those delicious brown bits.
The caramelized onions: Don't worry if you or your family dislike onions. When they're done caramelizing, these onions are so small that you barely notice they're there. They only add a subtle hint of sweet caramelized flavor to the dish.

Pasta Da Vinci Cheesecake Factory Ingredients
You'll only need a handful of ingredients to prepare this delicious pasta dish:
Shiitake mushrooms: These mushrooms are the star of this pasta dish. If you can find them, I highly recommend using them. They are widely available in supermarkets and have a very umami, delicious flavor. If you can't find shiitakes, try cremini, button mushrooms, or white mushrooms instead.
Chicken: I enjoy pasta dishes with chicken because it provides a well-rounded meal. You will need boneless skinless chicken breasts. You can also use chicken tenders.
Olive oil: I recommend using olive oil to cook the chicken.
Butter: You need some butter to saute onions and mushrooms.
Red onion: Red onions are delicious in pasta because they add color and flavor.
Penne pasta: You can use any pasta you want, but the Cheesecake Factory uses penne pasta in this dish.
Heavy Cream: Cream is a necessary ingredient in the sauce. It gives it a smooth, silky texture and a rich flavor.
Sour Cream: This unusual secret ingredient adds a tangy flavor to the sauce.
Garlic: Everything tastes better with garlic! You can add more or less garlic according to your personal preferences. A pinch of garlic powder also adds a kick to this pasta dish.
White Grape juice: It adds just the right amount of richness and sweetness to the sauce. You can use ½ cup chicken stock if you don't have white grape juice with a splash of balsamic vinegar.
Pepper and salt to taste.
